About This Role

The RN in the Heart Failure ICU at Cleveland Clinic provides specialized care for adults with complex heart failure, including those awaiting transplants or needing intensive medical support. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to advance their critical care expertise in a supportive environment.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic
• Department/Unit: Heart Failure ICU
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families using educational materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocol.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience:

• 1+ year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Will consider military RN experience.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment.
