Assistant Nurse Manager – Inpatient Pediatric Rehab

About This Role

As an Assistant Nurse Manager at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation, you will support the nurse manager by providing clinical supervision and unit coordination. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to gain extensive leadership experience while delivering patient-first healthcare.

• Pay: $40 - $60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (four 10-hour shifts)

• Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations.
• Provide patient care.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among unit caregivers and other departments/units.
• Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers and counsel on performance issues.
• Administer initial corrective actions and monitor attendance issues.
• Interview, select, and orient new caregivers.
• Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.
• Participate in and support quality improvement projects, outcomes, studies, and research initiatives.
• Assume responsibilities of the Nurse Manager in their absence.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required
• Experience: 2+ years of recent clinical nursing experience required
• Leadership experience preferred

  Certifications:
  
  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year of hire
