About This Role
As a Clinical Adjunct Faculty Nurse at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus, you will serve as an educator in an affiliated Nursing Program while providing direct patient care. This role is ideal for those passionate about training the next generation of nurses and enhancing their own skills in a supportive environment.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Monitor and document condition and effectiveness of care and/or interventions.
- Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs.
- Assess the educational needs of patients and significant others considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
- Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate.
- Oversee nursing students as nursing clinical adjunct faculty when not providing direct patient care.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Experience:
- 2+ years of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current unencumbered state or multistate compact licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
