About This Role
As an RN in the Hematology and Oncology Department at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide exceptional care to patients with various malignancies and hematologic diseases. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers who thrive in a supportive environment and are committed to enhancing patient experiences.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Hematology and Oncology
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- 1+ years of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
- Will consider licensed military RN experience.
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- ONS Chemo/Bio course completed within two years of hire if employed on units where chemo is administered.
