About This Role
The PRN RN in the Progressive Pulmonary Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic provides specialized nursing care to patients with complex pulmonary needs. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers looking to enhance their clinical skills in a high-acuity environment.
Highlights- Pay: $43 - $43/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Progressive Pulmonary Care Unit
- Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex pulmonary needs.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- 2 years recent related nursing experience for external applicants
- Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered after orientation/90-day probationary period
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for Critical Care areas
