About This Role
Join Cleveland Clinic's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute as an Experienced Registered Nurse, where you will care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. This role is ideal for those looking to leverage evidence-based practices and advanced technologies in a collaborative environment.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
- Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, and document findings.
- Notify physicians of abnormal findings.
- Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
- Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
- Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
- Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
- Educate patients and families.
- Cover other nursing roles in the department.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience:
- 1+ years of current acute care RN experience required
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within two months of hire
