About This Role
Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus as an RN in the General OR, where you will be an essential member of the surgical team, delivering safe and compassionate patient care during complex surgical procedures.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: General OR
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Prepare and support patients before surgery.
- Maintain a safe and organized sterile environment.
- Assist during surgical procedures.
- Advocate for patients under anesthesia.
- Provide education and communication to patients and families.
- Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting.
- Perform scrub functions, selecting and handling instruments.
- Perform circulating functions, monitoring and managing patient care.
- Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks.
- Prepare the Operating Room and surgical equipment for use.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred within 6 months of hire
- RN Loan Repayment program to help pay off student debt
