About This Role
The RN Resident in Med/Surg and Telemetry at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital provides exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to build a meaningful career in a Magnet Hospital recognized for professional nursing practice.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital
- Department/Unit: 4D Complex Medical Care and Telemetry Unit
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
- Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
- New grad or less than one year of RN work experience required.
- Experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience preferred.
Certifications:
- Current state licensure or pending licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) presented upon hire.
