About This Role

The RN Hospital International position involves providing direct nursing care abroad in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role is ideal for caregivers living out of the state of Ohio, focusing on international operations.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Document patient's condition and evaluate, update, and revise plan of care.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.
• Assess educational needs of the patient and significant others.
• Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate.
• Validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching.

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in Emergency, Critical Care, ICU, AMET, CMET, Critical Care Transport or related area required.
• Experience delivering pre-hospital emergency care preferred.

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Certified Flight Nurse (CFRN), Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC), Tactical Combat Casualty Care Certification (TCCC), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) certifications preferred.
