About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident in the Med/Surg & Telemetry unit at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to adult patients recovering from various conditions. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to enhance their nursing skills in a supportive environment.

• Pay: $36 - $56/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Fairview Hospital
• Department/Unit: Med/Surg & Telemetry
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• New grad or less than one year of RN work experience required.
• Prior med/surg experience preferred.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
