About This Role
As an RN in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring their comfort and support during treatment. This role is ideal for empathetic caregivers looking to advance their nursing career.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Emergency Department
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
- Document in patients’ medical records.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.
Experience:
- New grad or less than one year RN work experience required.
- If experienced, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire.
- Professional growth through a one-year, accredited Nurse Residency program.
