Nightingale RN - Med​/Surg & Telemetry

About This Role

The Nightingale RN position at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry Units. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to leverage their skills and mentor newer nurses.

• Pay: $43.00/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Fairview Hospital
• Department/Unit: Med/Surg and Telemetry Units
• Schedule: Part-time, Days

• Assess patients; complete nursing assessments and document findings.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinate ongoing care and facilitate discharge planning.
• Provide telephone triage and participate in call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and treatments as directed by physicians.
• Evaluate and maintain standards of care consistent with CCHS policies.
• Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided to patients.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned to ensure efficient operations.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• BSN preferred

• 3 years of experience in an RN HOPS position at Cleveland Clinic immediately prior to retirement

• Current RN License in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required in areas performing moderate sedation procedures
