RN Surgery Weekender Flex – Liver

About This Role

The RN Surgery Weekender Flex position at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus involves providing professional nursing care in an operative setting for adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role is ideal for dedicated nurses seeking a flexible schedule while being part of a renowned liver transplant program.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Liver OR
• Schedule: Full-time, Weekend days + one weekday shift

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient condition.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis and suturing.
• Prepare the Operating Room, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

• One year RN experience required or completion of Cleveland Clinic perioperative residency program.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire preferred
