As a New Graduate RN in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic, you will begin your nursing career in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, providing specialized care for patients with complex traumatic injuries while building a strong foundation in critical care.

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resource availability.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience
• If experienced RN, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within the first year of employment
