About This Role

The International RN position at Cleveland Clinic involves providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols, with a focus on geriatric, Med/Surg, and hospice backgrounds. This role requires international travel to the Middle East and is ideal for experienced nurses looking to expand their horizons.

• Pay: $36 - $56/hour

• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve planned outcomes.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
• Assess and coordinate client's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate.
• Validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN required.

• Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience required for SNF care settings.
• Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or rehab experience required for rehab care settings.
• Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience required for ED settings.
• 3 years of RN experience required for international roles.
• Preferred experience in geriatrics.

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
• ACLS certification required if in a Critical Care area, upon hire or within the first year.
• PALS certification required if in an ED, upon hire or within one year.
• TNCC or ENPC required if in Dedicated Trauma Centers, upon hire or within 24 months.
