About This Role
The RN - Cardiovascular Surgical Stepdown provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in critical thinking and patient coordination.
Highlights- Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Provides direct nursing care and implements patient care plans.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions.
- Evaluates and revises plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
- Coordinates all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs.
- Provides education and teaching materials to patients and families.
- Maintains professional growth through ongoing education.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required for critical care areas.
- PALS certification required for RNs in Children's Hospital within one year of hire.
