Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross); NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in PICU specialty required
• Experience with EKGs and inotropes required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Work in the PICU at a hospital main campus
• Care for specialized pediatric patients up to 25 years of age, including epilepsy monitoring
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30, subject to change based on operational needs
• Every other holiday coverage required
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric ICU patients, including epilepsy monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with a passing score required
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous permanent or per diem employees must wait 1 year from their prior end date before returning to Cleveland Clinic hospitals
• Background check hits reviewed case by case; open cases and any license hits are not accepted
