SummaryAssists with and provides infant through adult patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager or assigned RN-Clinical Nurse. Performs only those skills listed in the Record of Activity of Orientation (RAO). Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The Metro Health System.
Responsibilities- Provides general patient care support in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner under all circumstances under the direction of the Nurse Manager or assigned RN-Clinical Nurse. Duties.
- Perform and gain nursing skills under direct supervision and with the assistance of the assigned RN.
- Performs duties related to indirect patient care.
- Document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborates with other members of the health care team.
Enrolled in an accredited nursing program (or a program seeking accreditation), completed fundamentals of nursing, and is currently registered in clinical. Continuous enrollment in a nursing program or a graduate of a nursing program and board eligible. BLS Certification from the AHA for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Eligibility to continue in the position lasts for a maximum of 6 months after graduation from nursing school.
