About This Role
The New Grad RN Resident in the Pediatric Unit at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus provides direct nursing care to pediatric patients, focusing on high-quality, family-centered care. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates looking to start their careers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Pediatric Unit
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
Experience:
- One year of current acute care RN experience preferred (will consider military RN experience).
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred for Critical Care areas.
