Travel RN - Medical ICU

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical ICU position requiring 18 months of recent ICU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Critical Care/ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (charge RN references accepted, co-worker references not accepted)
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

• Hospital-based MICU setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float requirement to all 3 ICUs and ED for holds
• Provide critical care nursing to medically complex ICU patients
• Expected to work every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• All requested time off must be discussed during the interview process
