About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident in the Cardiothoracic Robotic Surgery ICU/CVICU at Cleveland Clinic provides specialized care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery, including advanced minimally invasive robotic procedures. • Pay: $36 - $56/hour
• Location: Cleveland, OH
• Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
• Department/Unit: Cardiovascular ICU
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
• Document in patients' medical records.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.

Experience:

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred for Critical Care areas.
