Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking a Behavioral Health RN for a Geriatric Psych unit requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior behavioral health experience in a non-psychiatric acute care setting.

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent behavioral health experience in a short-term acute care hospital (non-psychiatric facility)
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

• Behavioral Health unit within a hospital setting
• Geriatric psychiatric patient population
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Responsibilities include milieu management, medication management, patient assessments, and documentation
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to pass
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
