American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 12 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

• MS/Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am
• 18-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, active and in hand at time of consideration; NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 12 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references will not be accepted

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients on the night shift
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• PBDS assessment is waived; ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Any background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
