American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN with a current Ohio or compact license and 1 year of specialty experience for a hospital position with rotating day/night shifts.

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours): 7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary to meet hospital operational needs
• Holiday coverage required every other holiday

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with passing scores required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to interview
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
