Join the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute as an RN caring for children with epilepsy in a specialized 15-bed unit. This role is ideal for nurses looking to build expertise in pediatric epilepsy and seizure care while working in a supportive interdisciplinary environment.
Highlights- Pay: $36 - $56/hour
- Location: Cleveland, OH
- Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
- Department/Unit: Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with epilepsy and complex medical needs.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families regarding care, treatment, medications, and ongoing needs.
- Develop knowledge and skills in epilepsy and neurological nursing care.
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program)
Experience- One year of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience will be considered
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
