G90 is a fast-paced Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit caring for patients recovering from complex and highly acute surgical procedures. Our team provides thoughtful, hands‑on care throughout the recovery process, helping patients manage pain, regain strength and mobility, and return to their daily lives. The unit cares for a diverse surgical population, with a strong focus on urology and surgical patients.

As an LPN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands‑on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Collect, document and report patient data and observations to the RN or authorized directing health care provider.
- Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions.
- Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.
- Perform routine laboratory tests.
- Educate patients and family members.
- Participate in the departmental orientation of new employees in a positive manner, share knowledge, experiences, and provide guidance when assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program
- Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Or the American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- One year of patient care experience
Physical Requirements:
- Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination.
- Involves extensive standing and walking.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
