Registered Nurse; RN Post Surgical

Role Overview:
This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit. The RN will collaborate with healthcare team members to manage a diverse patient population, including those with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform EKG interpretation and manage central lines
• Administer rescue Bi-Pap, high flow oxygen, trach/vent care
• Assist with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies
• Utilize critical thinking, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively
• Work with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, interns, providers, PT, and OT

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in Ohio
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience and all certifications upon hire
• Preferred: BSN and professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation
