American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be subject to change to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients, including monitoring and clinical support
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with a passing score required
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• All requested RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements
