American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact license and at least one year of relevant specialty experience.

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation

• Provide nursing care within a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Complete required annual hands-on competency modules if returning for a subsequent contract year
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Nicotine-free policy does not apply to nurses
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
