Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our landscapes, gardens, and lawns for 4 locations- 2 commercial and 2 residential. Person will also be in charge of building maintenance for all 4 locations as well as snow plowing. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for outdoor work, and proficiency in using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Care for gardens by planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing plants as needed.
• Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools effectively for various grounds keeping tasks.
• Operate snow plow vehicle to remove snow, as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Perform building maintenance and minor repairs including ceiling tiles, light bulbs, general maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness of all grounds keeping equipment and tools after use.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals and enhance the overall appearance of the properties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance, snow plow removal and grounds keeping is required.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant care practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in using both hand tools (such as shovels, rakes, screwdrivers, hammers) and power tools (such as drills, lawnmowers, trimmers, snow blowers).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics in landscaping design.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver's license IS REQUIRED.
• We provide the snow plow vehicle.
