Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. 3+ years of EHS experience supporting day‑to‑day operations in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, logistics, or other operational environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings clearly. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to multidisciplinary teams. Strong organization skills and ability to track actions, documentation, and follow‑through.
Ability to spend significant time on the floor in an active operations environment.
Driver’s License
Required:
This position requires a valid driver’s license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to frequent travel to various client locations.
Preferred:
Experience supporting warehouse operations, light industrial, new site openings, temporary labor environments and contractor safety programs. Familiarity with ergonomics in repetitive manual tasks, machine guarding, lockout/tagout concepts. OSHA 30 or similar EHS certification/training. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, innovative client environments while producing high‑quality deliverables. Ability to help develop practical SOPs, checklists, and training materials from the ground up.
- Manage day‑to‑day EHS support for the warehouse operations.
- Conduct routine floor walks, inspections, and task‑based hazard assessments.
- Support development and implementation of site EHS programs and operating procedures covering ergonomics, machine safety, material handling, housekeeping, fire/life safety, emergency preparedness, and contractor safety.
- Partner with operations leaders to identify risks, recommend controls, and track corrective actions to closure.
- Deliver and coordinate EHS training for employees, temporary workers, contractors, and supervisors.
- Support incident reporting, near‑miss review, root cause analysis follow‑up, and lessons‑learned communication.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Security, and site leadership on emergency response readiness, and evacuation planning.
- Monitor waste handling, storage conditions, aisle clearance, and general site housekeeping expectations.
- Maintain required EHS records, inspection logs, training documentation, and risk assessment updates.
- Support management of change when layouts, staffing, shifts, equipment, or workflows change.
For the Consultant, Health & Safety position, the anticipated annual base pay is $80,000–$100,613 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
