This role will play a key part in advancing Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) initiatives while partnering with leadership to foster a culture of compliance, operational excellence, and employee development. Responsibilities
- Lead employee onboarding programs related to safety, quality, training, and compliance.
- Partner with managers and department leaders to identify and address training needs across the organization.
- Track, analyze, and report SHEQ metrics to leadership, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and deliver employee training programs and educational materials.
- Manage quality objectives and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead internal audits, inspections, corrective action programs, and compliance activities.
- Support and maintain ISO certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and oversee environmental, health, and safety programs.
- Administer hazardous waste management and chemical handling compliance programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety, Health, Environment, and/or Quality within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience supporting and maintaining ISO-certified management systems.
- Strong knowledge of audit processes, compliance programs, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preferred Experience
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 management and audit experience.
- Internal auditing and corrective action management.
- Environmental compliance and hazardous materials management.
- Continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
- Manufacturing training and workforce development initiatives.
