Quality Supervisor
(US Citizen/Permanent Resident due to ITAR)
Job DescriptionThe Quality Supervisor leads the Quality Engineering team, driving the integration of quality standards across all value streams. This role ensures consistent workmanship through training, feedback, and accountability, while monitoring key metrics such as scrap, MRB, non-conformance, and in-process corrections.
Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and train a high-performing Quality Team, including providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Monitor and report scrap, MRB, Non-Conformance, and In-Process Correction by Value Stream.
- Conduct departmental reporting for various tiers.
- Deliver targeted improvements for Scrap, MRB, Non-Conformance, and In-Process Correction by Value Stream.
- Standardize quality standards and processes across operations.
- Lead efforts in Customer Complaints, Corrective & Preventative Action, and Root Cause Analysis for sustainable Quality improvements.
- Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement and support Quality Kaizen initiatives.
- Support New Product Introduction and enhance product quality.
- Quality engineering expertise with proficiency in PFMEA and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and corrective action plans.
- Proficiency in gage R&R studies and statistical process control.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and trend analysis.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why).
- Experience with statistical software such as SQC Pack or Minitab.
- Understanding of control plans and continuous improvement exposure.
- Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Previous leadership experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- ASQ CQE certification or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in measurement, inspection, and testing methods, including calibration.
- Familiarity with government contracts (DOD) and regulatory compliance in relevant industries (e.g., FDA, AS9100, IATF).
The work environment is a recently remodeled facility with a game room area, offering an extremely clean manufacturing environment. The role involves a dynamic mix of 50% on-floor management and overseeing five direct reports. The environment is open to industry experience from Manufacturing, Automotive, or Medical Device-regulated environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
