Apave is looking for a Nuclear Equipment Inspector for long-distance travel.

Within the nuclear agency in Chalon sur Saône, the technical team plays a major role: enabling our clients to carry out their work safely and thus contributing to the development of the Apave Group in the heart of the territories.

Concretely, what will your daily routine consist of?

Attached to the nuclear agency and based at our client's site in Dortmund, Germany for a 12-month mission, within their nuclear equipment manufacturing workshop, you will be responsible for following and verifying the manufacturing of high-pressure equipment.

To this end, you will control machining, shaping, and welding operations to ensure the quality of the supplied parts while also assisting with non-destructive testing, tests, and measurements. You will verify the constructors' files and write reports. You will ensure the proper completion of the manufacturing and the respect of nuclear safety rules, showing rigor and diplomacy with site stakeholders. You will represent Apave, demonstrating exemplary behavior and professionalism.

At the end of the contract in Germany, you will be assigned to other missions in France and internationally.

Let's talk about you!

First, your educational background:

With a Bac+2 to +3 degree (such as BTS and/or License ROC, IWT, CRCI, CND…), you have good knowledge in mechanics, metallurgy, or welding. A first significant experience of at least 3 years in a similar function would be appreciated (maintenance, control, and/or inspection in an industrial environment). Knowledge in non-destructive testing would be a plus.

You master computer tools and imperatively possess a good level of technical English.

Then, your skills, your personal qualities:

With a good technical appetite, you show autonomy, rigor, and professionalism. With excellent interpersonal skills and a good ability to adapt, you are also recognized for your customer service skills and your ability to produce quality writing. Specific training of one to two months on various techniques will be provided during your integration.
