  • Train and support manufacturing personnel on inspection systems, providing troubleshooting as needed
  • Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to ensure measurability and inspection feasibility early in the design process
  • Conduct GR&R, MSA, and calibration studies to validate measurement system performance
  • Investigate dimensional nonconformances and collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and document root causes and drive effective corrective actions

  • Technical knowledge and skills:
  • Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
  • Experience programming and operating automated inspection systems
  • Understanding of dimensional measurement techniques
  • Proficiency with statistical tools such as GR&R, SPC, and capability analysis
  • Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and CAD models
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Poly Works, Calypso, PC-DMIS, or similar metrology software
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or other precision manufacturing environments
  • ASQ certification (CQE, CQA) or equivalent
  • Experience with optical, vision, laser scanning, or non-contact metrology systems
  • Familiarity with CATIA, NX, or Solid Works CAD models
Competencies & Skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
