** QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDITOR  Cleveland, OH
**** Pay Range $20.00-$30.00 dependent on experience

If so, we invite you to join our team as a Quality  this critical role, you'll serve as a key quality resource throughout the manufacturing process—from incoming materials and supplier performance to in-process audits and customer-returned products.

You'll work alongside engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams to help ensure our products meet customer, industry, and company requirements every step of the way.
** What You'll Do
*** Perform inbound inspections of purchased goods prior to receipt to verify compliance with established requirements and acceptance criteria.
* Conduct physical inspections of materials, review accompanying documentation, and assess acceptance against engineering drawings, specifications, and controlled procedures.
* Perform audits of materials received from special processing suppliers, including inspection of product, documentation, acceptance criteria, and supplier performance requirements.
* Evaluate compliance with customer and company flow-down requirements and participate in supplier quality assessments.
* Coordinate Returned Material Authorization (RMA) activities, including physical receipt of customer-returned products, communication with Quality Engineers, ERP transactions, rework order management, and return-to-stock processing.
* Support Defective Material Reporting (DMR) investigations and dispositions by conducting employee interviews, reviewing documentation, containing suspect material, and supporting corrective action implementation.
* Perform in-process manufacturing audits to verify compliance with established Inspection Plans, product requirements, documentation standards, and calibrated gaging requirements.
* Conduct work cell audits to ensure adherence to approved work instructions, training and certification requirements, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
* Support the Quality Inspection Team with inspections, Gage Repeatability & Reliability studies, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), PPAP documentation, and Inspection Plan creation or revisions.
* Assist with quality data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
** Additional Responsibilities
*** Analyze quality performance data and metrics.
* Evaluate trends, Pareto analyses, and performance indicators.
* Prepare and communicate reports that support quality improvement initiatives and business objectives.
** Qualifications
* *** Education
* ** High school diploma or GED required.
* Technical school certification, associate degree, or related education preferred.
** Experience
* ** Minimum of two years of relevant quality inspection, auditing, or manufacturing experience.
* Experience inspecting high-precision manufactured components is highly preferred.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*** Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and similar software applications.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), or similar quality certifications.
