A leading Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to support a large‑scale manufacturing operation. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing organization supporting high‑volume production programs while working closely with key suppliers to drive world‑class quality performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supplier quality activities supporting a high‑volume manufacturing operation
- Manage supplier quality performance throughout production and new program launches
- Drive supplier corrective actions using structured problem‑solving methodologies
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and process evaluations to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements
- Support APQP, PPAP, supplier development, and production readiness activities
- Coordinate containment actions, root cause investigations, and implementation of permanent corrective actions
- Monitor supplier quality metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage supplier process changes and approvals to maintain quality standards
- Support sampling inspections and supplier claim management activities
- Serve as the escalation point for supplier quality issues until permanent resolution is achieved
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams
- Previous experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer within a Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of APQ, Po PPA, Corrective Action Management, Supplier Auditing
- Hands‑on experience with Steel Coil Processi, Sintered Metal Manufacturing Processe
- Strong understanding of automotive quality systems and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication, supplier management, and problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
