Dimensional Quality Technician

Picture your day: you arrive, scan the production plan, and head straight to incoming shipments to verify materials meet spec. As lines ramp up, you move to the floor to check in-process parts, compare results against tolerances, and record everything cleanly. When a discrepancy appears, you’re the calm center—flagging the issue, partnering with production, and helping put a corrective action in motion.

You’ll wrap the day by contributing to audits, fine-tuning procedures, and sharing quality know-how with teammates so the next shift starts strong.

• Examine raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods to confirm they meet defined criteria.
• Apply measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Capture findings accurately and maintain traceable quality records and metrics.
• Detect and report nonconformances; collaborate with production to drive corrective measures.
• Help evolve quality procedures, standards, and checklists for greater reliability.
• Support periodic audits and contribute ideas to continuous improvement efforts.
• Coach production staff on quality practices and expectations to elevate outcomes.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional QA-related education is a plus.
• Hands-on background in inspection or similar quality roles, ideally in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of quality tools, methods, and control techniques.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong analytical thinking.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with measurement instruments and inspection software.
• Self-starter who also collaborates well in a fast-paced team setting.
