- Thorough knowledge of Management Systems (QMS, EMS)
- Internal System Auditor, including performing, recording and reporting the results of, QMS/EMS System Internal Audits, Manufacturing Process Audits, Layered Process Audits (Level
1), and as requested, Key Supplier Second-Party Audits - Manage the Inspection Device Program, including calibration (internal/external), Gauge R&Rs, device location, reporting, and issue resolution
- Prepare/submit PPAP Packages and First-Article Inspection documentation
- Manage the Warranty Program, including regular checking Customer portals for issues
- Manage Layered Process Audit Program, including recording and reporting Schedule Adherence and Finding Closure
- Provide Production Employee Competency training with respect to quality inspections, and maintain the Master Competency Matrix
- Perform CMM Measurements on new and existing products
- Assist in the containment of nonconforming product/material, including placing items On-Hold, and issuing Quality Alerts
- Back-up Support for Quality Manager and Quality Technician when necessary:
- Poly Pellet Moisture testing
- Poly Sheet Expansion testing
- Product sorts, inspections, certifications, and packaging as necessary
- Inspecting and packaging prototype, pilot and engineering products
- Provide quality support on the production floor, including training, as necessary
- Effective use of PLEX with respect to Job Classification Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all Company Procedures and work instructions pertaining to assigned tasks, and the potential consequences of departure from these Procedures
- Knowledge of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, all Company Policies, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Customer requirements
- Knowledge of the effects that nonconforming products have on our Customers
- Knowledge of the Environmental Policy, Environmental Objectives, all Safety Polices, and the importance of conformance to Soundwich and Regulatory requirements
- Aware of the Quality impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Quality System and the benefits of improved personal performance
- Aware of the Environmental and Safety impacts of their work activities, their roles and responsibilities in achieving conformance within the Environmental and Safety System and the benefits of improved personal performance
- Aware of how to submit Quality, Safety, Environmental and Business-Related questions or suggestions, and how initiate continual improvements
- Other tasks deemed by Soundwich Management to be in the best interest of Soundwich and our Customers.

- Math Skills (minimum):
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, ability to calculate percentages - Operate CMM using provided programs
- Communication

- Strong written and verbal skills
- Read and interpret documents
- Speak effectively before Customers, Auditors, and Employees
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from Customers
- Computer (minimum): PLEX, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Prepare reports, graphs/charts, other correspondences
- Identify opportunities to improve and promote quality, including recommending modifications to quality requirements to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
- Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities
