We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Lead to join our team on 1st shift

Support Daily Quality Control

Activities:
  • Complete daily documentation for items produced and ensure quality records are accurate, legible, and fully completed
  • Enter product measurement data into the SPC system and review results against established specifications
  • Verify that product released from the facility meets internal, customer, and specification requirements
  • Place nonconforming or out-of-specification product on hold and clearly communicate quality concerns to production and quality leadership
Perform Product Inspection & Measurement:
  • Use quality measurement tools and analytical equipment, including calipers, spectrophotometers, automated measurement systems such as AVID, and other inspection equipment as required
  • Perform routine product checks, dimensional inspections, visual inspections, and specification reviews in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Identify quality risks, document findings, and elevate concerns when product may not meet specification or release requirements
Support Problem Solving & Corrective Action:
  • Support product containment activities and assist with PCAPs, nonconformance documentation, and corrective action follow-up
  • Use SPC data, inspection results, and production observations to help identify trends or recurring quality concerns
  • Work with production and quality leadership to ensure immediate quality issues are addressed before nonconforming product is released
Enforce Quality Standards & Procedures:
  • Ensure quality-related specifications, work instructions, inspection requirements, and product release procedures are followed consistently
  • Communicate professionally and directly with production personnel when product does not meet requirements
  • Help protect the customer and the facility by preventing nonconforming product from leaving the plant
Use Computer Systems Effectively:
  • Demonstrate competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/email, SPC systems, and other quality documentation platforms
  • Use electronic systems to enter data, complete records, communicate issues, and support timely quality decisions
  • Support Daily Quality Control

    Activities:
