- Perform laboratory testing and analysis while following established procedures and maintaining safe work practices.
- Promote safety, housekeeping, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency within the work area.
- Ensure testing activities are completed accurately and in accordance with applicable methods and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and internal stakeholders regarding testing status, priorities, and special requests.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with others to resolve problems and maintain workflow.
- Review and verify test data for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and assist in identifying root causes of nonconforming results.
- Document, maintain, and enter data into spreadsheets, databases, or other laboratory information systems.
- Coordinate sample handling and facilitate efficient movement of materials throughout the laboratory.
- Manage multiple priorities and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to overall laboratory performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or another science-related field preferred.
- Previous laboratory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, research, or quality environment preferred.
- Familiarity with quality systems or laboratory standards is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn laboratory software and data management systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently after training and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform duties requiring visual acuity and attention to detail.
