Equity Research Analyst

Northcoast Research is seeking a Equity Research Analyst with 3 to 5 years of applicable industry or financial services experience to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is designed for a high-performing professional to be on a fast track to transition into a Senior Analyst position.

• Primary Research & Analysis: Take a lead role in the research and analysis of assigned industries and companies, develop deep sector expertise, and conduct proprietary research.
• Proprietary Research: Conduct rigorous ongoing market research to identify emerging trends, thematic shifts, and investment catalysts.
• Industry Networking: Cultivate a network of industry contacts, experts, and company executives to support proprietary research methods.
• Financial Modeling: Own, maintain, and continuously refine detailed, comprehensive financial and valuation models.
• Report Generation: Author and publish comprehensive, high-quality industry and company-specific research reports.
• Team: Collaborate across research teams to generate consistent and high-quality research.

• Undergraduate or graduate degree with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics
• Integrity, teamwork, and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication, research, writing, and organizational skills
• Team oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Progress towards FINRA SIE, Series 7, 66, 86 and 87 licenses preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
