Retail Store Associate – Position Summary

Retail Store Associates at CVS Health play a meaningful role by delivering differentiated customer service, anticipating customer needs, and supporting both store and pharmacy operations. • Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items.
• Perform cashier duties precisely, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to support growth and career development opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Remain upright on the feet, especially for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and small amounts regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Maintain close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, or visual inspection involving small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).
