Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greet guests promptly and address them with courtesy, respect, and dignity.
- Maintain accuracy and composure under pressure; adhere to Towne Park phone etiquette and welcome guests to the location.
- Assist guests with directions and inquiries; provide information about facility amenities, meeting rooms, outlets, and local attractions.
- Determine guest charges and process payments via cash, credit, or direct billing; accurately categorize tickets for audit purposes; collect and reconcile revenue and provide payment receipts.
- Complete accurate and timely shift reports; follow standard operating procedures related to cash banks; operate equipment such as registers, gates, and credit card machines.
- Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged; complete all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Lead Cashier/Account Manager.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent). - Work Experience:
One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge:
Basic math skills; ability to read and write standard English; ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and to present information in one-on-one and small group settings. - Mathematical ability:
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide with units of American money; understand 24-hour and military time systems; understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Physical:
Regularly talk or hear; sit or stand for extended periods; may run, walk, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; vision requirements include near, far, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. - Lifting:
Exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and more than 10 pounds constantly to move objects. - Environment:
Outdoor work for extended periods; exposure to extreme heat or cold; travel up to 5% may be required.
