Strategic Account Manager

Overview

My client is a well established manufacturing company in the Cleveland area looking for a Strategic Account Manager due to growth. This is a higher level sales opportunity looking for someone who is more strategic that has experience supporting and mentoring other Account Managers to help them grow their business and be able to build relationships with C level people.

• Develop strategic account plans and nurture relationships with VP and C level executives to advance revenue growth.
• Mentor and support other Account Managers to help them grow their business and achieve revenue growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with C level stakeholders and other senior leaders.

• At least an Associates degree with at least 5 years of sales experience in either data centers, wire and cable, electronics, or contract manufacturing.
• Must have a proven track record of revenue growth in large, multi million dollar accounts.
• Leadership skills and ability to support and mentor salespeople to achieve revenue growth.
• Experience building relationships with VP and C level people is essential.
• Strong technical aptitude and good negotiation and presentation skills are preferred.
• Must be willing to travel 30% across the US, Mexico, and Canada.
