POSITION SUMMARY

Cleveland Kitchen is looking for an experienced sales professional with food/beverage experience to join our team. This National Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing our wholesale relationships, acquiring new accounts, forecasting & promotion schedules, leading our broker partners to execute on annual business plans among other things. They will work directly with the CCO, leadership, finance, and sales team to lead and implement our sales strategy and deliver our delicious and healthy fermented foods to all.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILTIES (including but not limited to)
  • Managing wholesale partners and direct retailer relationships
  • Managing our current wholesale partners (UNFI, KeHe, DOT, C&S, etc.)
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party brokers
  • Acquiring new accounts by in-person and remote account calls
  • Building and maintaining key relationships
  • Maintaining promotional schedules and calendars
  • Scheduling and leading presentations of Cleveland Kitchen in category reviews
  • Interpreting and presenting sales data and trend data to customers
  • Working closely with the finance leadership and data team on forecasting the annual business plan for each individual retail account
  • Travel and represent the brand at various trade shows nationally
  • Delivering and presenting the annual business plans to broker and retail partners
  • Executing on Cleveland Kitchen 4 P strategy. Product, price, placement, promotion.
ABOUT YOU

Cleveland Kitchen is looking for a passionate and energetic sales professional who is hungry, creative and wants responsibility. You have intimate knowledge of food or beverage sales strategy and desires to help build the leading brand in fermentation food.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-10 years experience in food and beverage sales
  • Experience building emerging food brands
  • Existing relationships with wholesalers and retailers
  • Successful track record of driving sales and growth
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work well with high-performance entrepreneurial teams
  • Passions for delicious and healthy foods
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Exceptional understanding of data and analytics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast growing and high-pressure work environment
  • Flexibility to adapt and problem solve
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Proficient in Google Suite including sheets, docs and Gmail
