Inside Sales Representative

Overview

Hose Master is a family‑owned company with 42+ years of stability, headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with regional facilities in Houston, TX;
Atlanta, GA; and Reno, NV. We manufacture flexible metal hoses and expansion joints entirely in the USA. As a Sales Representative, you will provide daily sales and customer‑service support for our flexible metal piping products, engaging customers via phone and email, reactivating inactive accounts, recruiting new customers, and ensuring timely order processing.

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Conduct sales outreach and follow‑up using phone and email.
• Offer product information, pricing, and proposals to customers.
• Process orders: enter, monitor, and confirm timely shipment.
• Resolve quotes, orders, and invoice issues.
• Apply the “STAMPED” method to determine customer order requirements.
• Develop and grow assigned accounts, nurturing strategic relationships.
• Partner with outside sales and management to meet territory goals.
• Complete targeted sales campaigns assigned by management.
• Report customer and market developments to field sales partners and management.
• Stay current on product, service, and industry developments.

• 1–3 years of direct sales experience, primarily phone‑based.
• Experience in a high‑volume manufacturing inside‑sales environment.
• Preferred knowledge of hoses and related products.
• Proficiency with ERP, CRM, phone, and web‑based systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on behalf of customers.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in servicing customers and building strategic relationships.
• Some technical aptitude and comfort with numeric data.

Primarily office work, sitting at a desk or computer terminal. Duties may require standing, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands to handle tools or controls. Occasional shop‑floor presence for order coordination is necessary. Vision: close vision and ability to adjust focus.
