Account Executive

$85,000 – $150,000 OTE (Base + Commission) | Full-Time

About the role

As an Account Executive at infin

IT, your job is to grow our client base. You own the full sales process, from first outreach through signed agreement.

You will prospect, qualify, run discovery, build proposals, and close. You will be the face of infin

IT in every early-stage client conversation, and how you show up matters.

This is a hunter role. If you are most comfortable managing existing relationships, this is probably not the right fit.

This is also a consultative sale. You will be working with business owners and operators who are often dealing with IT challenges, risk, or uncertainty. Your ability to build trust, ask the right questions, and guide them to the right solution is critical.

Compensation
  • Base salary + commission structure with on-target earnings between $85,000 and $150,000+
  • Commission tied to new business revenue
  • Typical deal sizes and sales cycles will be discussed during the interview process

We believe strong salespeople should be rewarded for performance and given a clear path to earning.

What success looks like

You are consistently generating qualified opportunities through outbound effort and referrals.

Your pipeline is real, not inflated, not stale.

Prospects feel like they are talking to a trusted advisor, not a vendor.

You forecast accurately and deliver on what you commit to.

You close new business and hand it off cleanly to the service team.

In your first 60–90 days
  • You are building consistent pipeline through outbound activity
  • You are running discovery conversations with confidence
  • You are progressing opportunities toward your first closed deals
What you’ll be doing

Prospect for new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and partner relationships.

Qualify and run discovery with business owners and executives.

Manage your pipeline and CRM with accuracy and discipline.

Build and present proposals for managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure solutions.

Close new business and coordinate a clean handoff to the service team.

Provide honest weekly pipeline updates to leadership.

What we’re looking for

Required:
  • Proven track record in IT or technology sales in a hunter or new business development role
  • Experience selling managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, or related solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with business decision-makers
  • Disciplined pipeline and CRM management
Equally important:
  • Genuine curiosity about the businesses you sell to
  • Coachable, you want to get better and are open to feedback
  • Competitive drive that does not need a spotlight
  • Ability to lead consultative, trust-based conversations rather than transactional sales
Work environment and expectations

On-site role based in Cleveland, OH with regular local travel for client meetings.

This is a self-directed role with clear expectations around activity and outcomes. You will have access to technical and leadership support, but success in this role requires ownership, consistency, and initiative.
