Job Title:
Rental Account Manager
Location:
Cleveland, OH (Territory: Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown)
Schedule:
First Shift Monday – Friday
Salary: $55,000 per year, plus uncapped commission, potential bonuses, and long‑term incentive options.
Key Responsibilities- Develop leads through cold calls, telephone solicitation, and customer visits.
- Assess customer needs using product knowledge and develop customized sales proposals.
- Coordinate with rental operations to ensure equipment availability.
- Lead branch‑level marketing and train rental sales representatives in telemarketing techniques.
- Maintain customer relationships, conduct retention visits, and handle customer complaints.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and maintain accurate customer data in the DPS system.
- Process credit approvals, collections of receivables, and administer maintenance status updates.
- Adhere to company procedures and maintain professional conduct.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or five (5) years of related job‑related experience.
- One (1) year or more of sales experience, or equivalent sales training.
- Three (3) years or more of sales experience (preferred).
- One (1) year or more of industry experience (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Highly organized with excellent time‑management skills.
- High energy, self‑directed, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and professionalism.
Competitive base salary of $55,000 per year, plus uncapped commission, potential bonuses, and long‑term incentive plan based on performance.
