Job Title:

Rental Account Manager

Job Overview

Location:

Cleveland, OH (Territory: Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown)

Schedule:

First Shift Monday – Friday

Salary: $55,000 per year, plus uncapped commission, potential bonuses, and long‑term incentive options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop leads through cold calls, telephone solicitation, and customer visits.
  • Assess customer needs using product knowledge and develop customized sales proposals.
  • Coordinate with rental operations to ensure equipment availability.
  • Lead branch‑level marketing and train rental sales representatives in telemarketing techniques.
  • Maintain customer relationships, conduct retention visits, and handle customer complaints.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and maintain accurate customer data in the DPS system.
  • Process credit approvals, collections of receivables, and administer maintenance status updates.
  • Adhere to company procedures and maintain professional conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or five (5) years of related job‑related experience.
  • One (1) year or more of sales experience, or equivalent sales training.
  • Three (3) years or more of sales experience (preferred).
  • One (1) year or more of industry experience (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Highly organized with excellent time‑management skills.
  • High energy, self‑directed, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and professionalism.
