Brewery Representative

We are currently hiring a full‑time Brewery Representative in Northeast Ohio. The territory will include Erie, Lorain, Medina, Wayne, Lake, Geauga & Ashtabula Counties. The ideal candidate should live in the territory—preferably Lake County or Lorain County—and be willing to travel within the area. The position is field‑based and requires frequent visits to accounts.

• Sell the entire Boston Beer Company (BBC) product portfolio.
• Focus 100 % on selling products and/or upgrading the number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores, convenient stores).
• Identify major accounts that are not currently selling BBC products and develop a plan to establish business with them.
• Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point‑of‑sale items to increase brand visibility.
• Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts.
• Conduct waitstaff/bartender education, beer tastings, and evening promotions.
• Work conditions vary due to the customer‑facing nature of the role.
• May be required to work weekends and holidays to support business needs.
• Occasional travel for meetings and trainings.
• Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven results‑oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry.
• Intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality.
• Valid driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously.
• Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently.
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point‑of‑sale items frequently.

Salary range: $48,000 – $63,000, dependent on experience, skill set, and location. This position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
